This course will require a login to MBA Research material, which student will receive on the first day of class. The purpose of the project-based Leadership and Wealth Management courses these will enable students to acquire and apply leadership processes, strategies, and tactics. Students will generate project ideas, demonstrate emotional intelligence, examine personal characteristics associated with leaders, analyze leadership theories, utilize teamwork skills, and apply project-management skills.

Principles of Business, a project-based business course, develops student understanding and skills in such areas as business law, economics, financial analysis, human resources management, information management, marketing, operations, and strategic management. Through the use of three projects, students acquire an understanding and appreciation of the business world. They develop a business analysis report, conduct an environmental scan of the local business community, and investigate business activities. Current technology will be used to acquire information and to complete the projects. Throughout the course, students are presented problem-solving situations for which they must apply academic and critical-thinking skills. Formal reflection is an on-going component of the course.

Students develop their knowledge and skills in such areas as economics, entrepreneurship, operations, and professional development. Throughout the course, students will be presented with current economic problems for which they are asked to determine solutions, often through the application of decision matrices.

The class currently called Intro to Robotics it will be adjusted to the name Computer Programming. There will be little curriculum adjustment. The class currently encompasses C++, Alice and Python programming techniques. There is a robotics element in the program (LEGO mindstorms) however they are simply a supplement and not the focus of the program. The way the course is currently named it misleads that the LEGO robots are the focus of the class and simply aren't. Additionally it was relegated to just the 9 & 10, we will open this up to grades 9-12. Students enrolling MUST have the prerequisite Web Design course at MHS, or something equivalent, or upper echelon score in mathematics competency.
